What Our $199 Basic and $59.99 Deep Cleaning Include
What our $199 basic air duct cleaning and $59.99-per-vent deep duct cleaning cover, and how to tell which one your Maple Valley home needs.

Duct cleaning prices can be confusing. One company quotes a flat rate, another quotes per vent, and a third won't give a number until someone is standing in your living room. Our prices are posted so you know what to expect before you call.
Moment Air Duct Cleaning Maple Valley offers two kinds of duct service: basic air duct cleaning and deep duct cleaning. They solve different problems, and the right choice depends on what's going on in your home. Here's what each one covers, how the pricing works, and how to decide.
Basic air duct cleaning: $199 for up to 10 vents
Basic air duct cleaning is our whole-system service. It's what most Maple Valley homeowners mean when they say they want their ducts cleaned.
What it covers:
- The supply ducts that carry air to each room
- The return ducts that bring air back to the furnace or heat pump
- The registers and grilles
- An inspection, so we can point out anything we notice that needs attention
How the price works: $199 includes up to 10 vents. Each additional vent is $29. A vent here means a supply register or return grille.
Examples:
| Vents in the home | Price |
|---|---|
| 8 | $199 |
| 10 | $199 |
| 14 | $199 + 4 x $29 = $315 |
These rows only show the math. Your price depends on the number of vents in your home.
When it's a good fit:
- You see dust blowing from the registers or settling quickly on furniture
- You've finished a remodel or moved into a newly built home
- You've moved into a home and don't know when the ducts were last cleaned
- It's been many years since the whole system was cleaned
Deep duct cleaning: $59.99 per vent
Deep duct cleaning is targeted. Instead of the whole system, it focuses on specific ducts or vents that need extra attention.
What it covers:
- Cleaning of the individual ducts and vents you choose, or that we identify as the problem
- A free dryer vent inspection
How the price works: $59.99 for each vent cleaned. Two problem vents come to $119.98. Three come to $179.97.
When it's a good fit:
- One bedroom vent keeps putting out dust while the rest of the house is fine
- One run serves a room that was recently renovated
- A single duct smells musty or stale compared with the others
A note on that last point: a musty smell can come from moisture, and moisture problems need their cause fixed. If we see signs of mold or water damage, we'll tell you so you can contact an HVAC contractor or a mold professional. Mold remediation is not a service we offer.
How to choose between them
A simple rule: if the problem is the whole house, choose basic. If it's one or two spots, choose deep.
Run the numbers when you're in between. With three or four problem vents, deep cleaning costs about the same as the basic package, which covers up to 10 vents. In that case, cleaning the full system is usually the better value. If you're not sure, ask for a free quote and we'll recommend the option that fits.
What isn't included
So there are no surprises, here's what neither service covers:
- HVAC repairs or maintenance. We don't repair ducts, service furnaces or heat pumps, or clean coils and drain pans. Those are jobs for an HVAC contractor.
- Mold remediation. If mold is present, the moisture problem behind it needs to be solved by a qualified professional.
- Sanitizing, fogging or chemical treatments. We don't offer them. The EPA advises learning about the pros and cons of any chemical treatment before agreeing to it.
- Insulation or chimney work. Neither is part of our services.
Dryer vent cleaning is a separate service at $99 for up to 10 feet of vent, plus $15 for each extra foot. If you want it done too, mention it when you book.
What to have ready when you call
To get an accurate price quickly, it helps to know:
- Roughly how many supply registers and return grilles your home has
- Whether any rooms seem dustier than others
- Whether you'd like the dryer vent cleaned too, and roughly where it exits the house
A rough count is fine. See all rates on our pricing page, or read more about air duct cleaning and deep duct cleaning.
